Thermal Performance of an Evacuated-Tube Solar Collector Using Nanofluids and an Electrical Curtain Controlled by an Artificial Intelligence Technique

This paper studies the improvement of an evacuated tube solar collectors(ETSCs) performance in two way. The first is by adding a finned electronic curtain front collector. While second using nanofluid instead pure water. purpose to increase amount radiation reflected toward distinguished its self-ability track sun's rays automatically. also closed shade tubes depending on movement curtain's fins and nanofluid's temperatures. MATLAB algorithm has been used design Simulink model control system Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) Artificial Neural Network (ANN). results showed that improved TiO2(50nm)+PW) as working fluid without are (3.906%,5.34%, and7.407%), while rate case distilled water only was 2.34%and3.81%. Finally, use fluid, efficiency increased 7.03%,9.16%, 11.89%. collectors curtain.
